Four Reasons Why Now is a Great Time to Sign Up for Online Banking and eStatements

A lot has changed over the last 20 years. Even the way we do simple tasks like paying our bills and balancing our checkbooks looks a lot different than it did in 1995. While that is true for much of the population, it may not be true for you. You may still be taking care of your everyday banking tasks in the same way you did before Y2K. If this is true, let me try to convince you that now is the right time to join the twenty-first century. Online banking and e-statements help you to:
Enjoy Convenient Banking. With online banking, you can bank whenever and wherever it is convenient for you. As long as you have access to a computer, you can check your balance, pay bills, or transfer funds with a few clicks of the mouse.
Hang Onto Records. You know that it is smart to keep records of your transactions, but it is sometimes hard to do. When you bank online and receive your statements as e-statements, it becomes much easier. Each online transaction is recorded as you make it, and returned checks can be viewed as well. E-statements are sent to you monthly just as a paper statement would be, and you can archive those on your computer for easy access.
Save Some Trees. When you do more of your banking activity online, you can greatly reduce your paper use. With fewer actual checks and no paper statements, you will have less paper that you need to handle and store.
