Federated Bank Supports Our Armed Service Members

Military Appreciation Month is a time to honor the brave men and women of our armed forces and thank them for their patriotism and service in defense of our nation. Their sacrifices, and those of their family members, are a debt that can never be fully repaid, which is why we consider it a great honor at Federated Bank to serve their financial needs every day.

At Federated Bank, we want to serve as a resource to the service members in our community and their families—during their military career and beyond. Our longstanding ties to the community, knowledge of unique military circumstances, and personalized decision-making provide a useful guide for determining appropriate products and services to meet their diverse financial needs.

Many of our customers take advantage of our bank’s participation in the Department of Veterans Affairs home loan program, for example, to secure attractive rates and generous financing terms toward the purchase or refinance of a home.

Federated Bank’s financial services expertise and relationship-based lending model help us advise customers on how to maximize these programs. We also help our customers understand how these beneficial programs can be used for future home purchases, as well as protections under the law, which suspend financial and civil obligations while serving on active duty.
As a Small Business Administration lender, Federated Bank works with individuals transitioning from military service to civilian life to access special funding for veteran-owned small businesses, entrepreneurship training programs, and contracting opportunities offered through the SBA.

At Federated Bank, we salute the men and women in uniform and their families for their service and sacrifice to help keep America safe and we couldn’t be prouder to help fulfill their banking needs—when they’re in the community and when the call of duty takes them away from home.
